Italia in Miniatura is a unique miniature park located in Viserba near Rimini on Italy's Adriatic coast, opened in 1970. The park showcases 273 perfectly detailed miniature reproductions of Italy's most important architectural monuments and landmarks built at scales ranging from 1:25 to 1:50. Visitors can see all of Italy in one afternoon: iconic structures include the Colosseum, Leaning Tower of Pisa, St. Peter's Basilica, Milan Cathedral, Venice with functional Grand Canal where electric boats actually navigate, Pompeii, Castel del Monte, and dozens more representing every Italian region.
